The Air Jordan 12 “International Flight” celebrates Michael Jordan’s place as basketball’s greatest global ambassador. The special colorway released along with “International Flight” editions of the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 5 in 2018. The specific inspiration for the Air Jordan 12 “International Flight” comes from Japan, where Jordan hosted a basketball clinic in Tokyo in 1996 with other NBA stars. For the event, he wore the original Air Jordan 12. Now the silhouette is transformed into this premium version, featuring a navy suede upper embossed with a graphic inspired by Japanese kimonos. The signature toe panels of the model are featured in a faux white snakeskin material to complete the striking look.
