The Air Jordan 12 “Chinese New Year” is 2019’s contribution to the annual tradition of special edition Air Jordan releases to celebrate the Chinese New Year. For the 2019 collection, Nike opted to combine all 12 Zodiac signs into one unified pattern inspired by traditional Chinese patchwork called Bai Jia Yi. A definite highlight of the entire 2019 Nike Chinese New Year collection, the Air Jordan 12 receives a Black Satin upper with a contrasting Sail shade for the pebbled leather toe panels and outsole for a classic AJ12 color block. Metallic gold accents complete the exterior, while a colorful patchwork print is found on the inner lining. The limited edition Air Jordan 12 “Chinese New Year” released on February 5, 2019.
